Rachelle Aderoju is a recent graduate from James Madison University. She received her Bachelor’s of Music in Viola Performance. Rachelle started playing the viola about 15 years ago in grade school. In high school, she went on to be involved in many youth orchestras and remained active throughout her high school’s orchestra, band and piano program. In college, Rachelle attended many summer institutes such as Hot Springs Music Festival and Bay View Music Festival. She has studied with Amadi Azikiwe and Dr. Ayn Balija. She hopes to continue her education through a Masters in Music Performance and Pedagogy. Rachelle remains active throughout the Northern Virginia community as a private teacher and chamber musician.
Rachelle is also an accomplished piano instructor for beginning to intermediate students.
Rachelle is very passionate about learning new and innovative techniques to make learning violin, viola, or piano not only interesting but personal as well. She caters to each students' needs and searches for the most effective ways a student can learn.
