Nicholas Black is a graduate of George Mason University with a degree in Music Composition and a minor in Music Technology.
As a violist, Nicholas dabbles in the eclectic. From Celtic to classical, jazz, hip-hop and pop, he has played it all. Nicholas regularly plays with local quartets and occasionally with a local D.C. Hip-hop and Go-go artist, Christylez Bacon.
Nicholas also composes music for string quartet and string orchestra, as well as creating electronic pieces. During his time at GMU, he was secretary and subsequently president of the student run chapter of SCI (Society for Composers, Inc).
