George Mason University - Bachelor of Music
Matthew Pazanowski earned his Bachelors in Music Education with a focus in instrumental education at George Mason University. Mr. Pazanowski is currently the band director at Eagle Ridge Middle School in Loudoun County.
Matt has taught clinics at both Park View High School in Sterling and Riverside High School in Leesburg. He remains active with the marching band at Riverside High School as the Brass Clinician and Visual Technician. Matt also assisted with the inaugural season of the Riverside High School Marching Band.
As a student at George Mason University, Matthew has performed as principal chair of the George Mason Symphonic Band two straight semesters. He also performs with the Jazz Workshop Ensemble and is an active member of the Green Machine and the Green Machine Brass Band.
Matt was selected as the Administrative Assistant to Dr. Dennis Edelbrock, the Founder and Executive Director of the National Trumpet Competition during the competition’s 25th anniversary.
He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity and a member of the National Association for Music Educators.
